Destiny advertisement

Hello, mods and those who are responsible for that Destiny Terror thing which have been implemented a few days ago!

Does advertisement have to be so much annoying?

At first, it opens a new tab with destinyblahblah every time i click anywhere except for buttons and links.
Then, the bad-coded top banner with changing height, it begins growing small and big on every page reload. Takes 5 or 10 seconds before one can actually begin reading.
The last, it started to eat up a lot of CPU time and even page scrolling is choppy.

Those three things make me feel like visiting one of those porno-pic-link-virus sites. They also make me turn adblock on for incgamers, and I feel bad about that. Just letting you know.

We contacted the agency about this and what they have told us is that if a user blocks cookies in any way the ad will keep expanding. It should only ever do that once in 24 hours. Annoyingly this is a US ad and I can't see it for myself :(

Actually, I've checked now without adblock and it looks like Destiny ads are gone. Only regular banners are left and they do no harm.

Thanks for your response. Will keep you updated should this thing return, and try to videorecord those three unsuitable points I've mentioned, for you.
