Seconded. My son used to choke & vomit very easily, probably due to his preemie birth, and my wife used to freak every time and make a huge issue of it. To this day he gets upset far too easily, to the point that I don't want him anywhere near a NY State social worker (who would eagerly cast him into the outer "Asperger" darkness since he's a cred-enhancing intelligent mostly white male).

I hate needles. Wasps and mosquitoes are to blame. I was stung behind the ear as a three-year-old by one of those black "flicky" wasps, and have a vivid memory of it.

Re: New life expected in Dawnmaster's Mansion

It's been a while since I've put an update here, but here it goes:

Kevin's around 3 months old now, he's starting to roll over, pushes himself up strongly on his legs when we're holding him upright,
and loves to "interact" (smile/kick/grab/make weird noises)
He's already starting to develop a "personality", whenever he doesn't instantly get what he wants,
the whole street will be made aware of his presence ^^
From time to time I let him cry for about 15 minutes, as to not always give him his way (holding his pacifier, walking around with him)
but most people can't stand to see him cry and want to comfort him asap...

I don't mind people picking him up and giving him attention, but I do when he's making an a** of himself to get the attention

At his age and probably up to 10ish years: yes.

Later and certainly now: quiet the opposite, I hate getting "public" attention,
    if it's negative, I'll feel embarassed/humiliated, if it's negative, I'll feel shy/uneasy.

As for the rest, I'm hoping he'll be better than me at most things (knowledge, sports, social life, kindness, defence, ...)
Nomatter my position, I just want the best for him

I know the feeling, I hate getting public attention! My kids seem better than me at being sociable and such.

That occurs to me a lot in the mod forum.

Bodies, these many bodies... so many, many bodies.

    ...

Eh sorry, I got a bit carried away.
