I'm sorry... gilded shield... some problems with italian version

Sacred Targe 60ed 100ar is worth Ber+. No clue for gilded shields.

Why?
Sacred targe has strenght req 86, gilded shield 89... small difference, but gilded shield has more defense (max for ST is 158, my gilded has 164) and even more durability... mine is superior, too.
How is it possible that ST is worth ber+ and gilded is worthless??

I believe it has something to do with block rate, but not entirely sure.

From what I see, marked demand is Sacred Targe >> Sacred Rondache >> Other shields and indeed, ST (60%)>>SR (58%)>>other blockrate-wise. However, I have not been playing paladin since 1.09d.
