I'm planning to go onto the realms to play classic with bobcox, and I intend to still play SP LoD, thus I have my issue. How do I be absolutely sure I won't get banned? Is just a separate loading icon enough?

Remove the multi instance .dll if you use it because that will get you banned.

Also, run from a shortcut without the -direct -txt of RWM/RRM. While unlikely to be picked up, they are not allowed on the bnet realms, and if a discrepency is picked up in your files, could lead to a ban. Better to play it safe.
