Start winter is the best rune for blizzard because it has the biggest aoe.

Since it can be used to kill now, so why not.

I did mess with 30 arcane on crit and frozen solid. Mostly it just made a white wall that blocked my view. Can easily freeze em 2-3 times in a row before they can act.

Start winter is the best rune for blizzard because it has the biggest aoe.

Just switched to the stark winter rune today and it's excellent. With blizzard, frost nova and blades, this finally feels like a wizard is supposed to: nonstop damage, always-on massive attack. This weekend has been the most fun I've had playing Diablo in a long time -- feels like I'm in the zone.

I haven't seen a single Blizzard wiz this weekend except myself.
Most of them still use CM/WW or different variations of Meteor.
I love blizzard because it deals damage constantly, slows the enemies and heals me so fast, I survive the most dire situations (got 5.4% LL from Skorn).
