In 1.0.7 here's the new XP bonuses:
- MP 1: 25% (up from 10%)
- MP 2: 50% (up from 20%)
- MP 3: 80% (up from 30%)
- MP 4: 120%(up from 45%)
- MP 5: 165% (up from 60%)
- MP 6: 215% (up from 75%)
- MP 7: 275% (up from 95%)
- MP 8: 340% (up from 115%)
- MP 9: 420% (up from 135%)
- MP 10: 510% (up from 160%)
Right now, I generally run MP2 with a Hellfire ring, which gives me a starting point of 55% XP.
I can see three general possibilities, each with its pros and cons:
* Move to a higher MP level, since the XP/monster goes up a lot more than it used to (more valuable kills), while the killing won't be getting any harder. MP3 with a Nat's (for extra DPS) = 80% XP (25% more than I get now).
* Stay at the current level, and just enjoy faster leveling. MP2 with a Hellfire = 85% XP (30% more)
* Move down to a lower MP level, since the XP/time should go up (faster kills). MP1 with a Hellfire = 65% XP (10% more).
What do you see yourself doing?
I expect to keep rolling right where I have been for exp runs, at mp2. I do like the idea of being able to jump into faster exp runs due to increased exp in higher mp levels and public games accommodating mp now as well. I guess I'll just cross my fingers that the public games I join aren't full of derps.![]()
Given that my build is entirely predicated on running mp0 at maximum speed (Dethklok's multishot mp0 build), I am not sure where I'll go.
I think I might spend some of my savings on a 'standard' DH set and keep my specific MS build stuff off to the side. Although, that build is based on using left click as Vault, which I do without even thinking nowdays, so I'm not sure how I'd handle more standard DH movement.
