It's called progress and it's increasing at a increasing rate see moores law etc.
as a example here's a kid using social skills no one had when I was a kid - not even adults..
Now kids have them.
High tech stalking is real folks.

Yes and no. I'm a luddite at heart; technology is wonderful but that's quite a stretch from being 'jacked' or 'augmented'. It was a serious question, BTW - were you referencing Kurzweil's "Singularity", or purely biological manipulation?
I've taught my son Moore's law in hopes that he will be less prone to fall victim to fads. However, I'm fairly certain it doesn't apply to medical technology or advances. Regardless of that, I think it's entirely possible to anticipate designer genes, cures for cancers, tailored therapy and what not - just that we're never going to see it from the U.S. unless Obamacare is eliminated because the Gov't will be sucking the wealth motivation out of the medical industry.
It's those rappers from Brighton to blame. Besides, looked like true love to me! [/vomit]
Well, "things" are "better" now, though I expect them to get much worse, fast. That's not the issue with the elimination of privacy; people are voluntarily surrendering their own privacy in exchange for baubles.
Do you think she can be delivered with room service?

I imagine you've hot-linked to something out of "Tetsuo - The Iron Man"?
NSFW indeed - first movie I'd seen that used first-member "penis-cam":
