Since the world did not endthought I would take a snap shot of how many hours of D3 we played in 2012.
I just passed 300 hours and currently in Act 1 Inferno.
I'm just a tad over 700, but some of that is idle afk time. I've finished the game with two (or three?) characters. Now I'm just doing mf runs and infernal machine with my barbarian.
Just over 500 hours. Highest level was a PL28 or 29.
Right at 700 hours. All classes to 60 in SC. A 68 and 76 paragon.
Probably a ton more time spent on the AH than that though.
593 hours. 5% or so of those are idle time, I'm guessing -- might be more, but I've racked up no AH time to counterbalance. I've cleared the game self-found on MP1/MP2 with DH and WD, other three classes are almost there -- my estimate is that it takes me around 105 hours, per class, to get through the game (with Inferno on at least MP1). The character accumulates ~10 P-lvls in this process.
About 750 hours. Don't want to think about how many of them were grinding act 3....![]()
660 hours. Damn how time flies while you are not having fun! or something.
384. I guessed a less than that but then again I sit in game a lot doing stuff for the wiki so it's not a true reflection of proper play time.

Around 610 hours, most of which was clocked before the nerfs to inferno and the buffs to legendaries. My highest paragon level is 61.
900ish in-game hours, probably close to 1000 with the AH time added in. Stopped almost completely after getting Americas' #1 Paragon, now waiting on the PvP or another system patch![]()
