Hi everybody.
A simple question... when an item has "x% chance to cast ...." and you have that skill in your tree, that spell is casted (by items) at the item level, or at your real level?
I explain myself.
Bonehew gives chance to cast lvl 16 bone spear. If I have a necro with bone spear at 30... my bonehew will cast lvl 30 bone spear?
I think i read that somewhere, but i'm not sure.
I was thinking about a zealot with maxed holy bolt and principle (100% to cast holy bolt on striking). Since a zealot hits very often, this could be really helpful.
And if i use again bonehew with a dudu with +2 to all skills from mara... this +2 will have effects on my bonespear?
Thanks for answers
It will cast the skill level that is listed on the item doing the casting, not your own. If you happen to have synergized the skill, you will get that skill level listed on the item with the skill levels of that synergy. If in your example, you used a necro that had maxed all the bone spear synergies, you'll have those syergies applied when the bonehew casts the spear.
+all skills will only boost so called Zero skill bonuses. +2 from maras will boost your +1 teleport from engima, but not boost a staff that has level 1 teleport charges.
Thats why I use snowclash om my blizzard sorceresses! Ctc a lvl 19 blizzard with synergies is awesome!!
Peace
Thank you both... i'll think about it![]()
I'm bumping this thread
Let's suppose i have harmony with its +3/+6 valkyrie on my barb. In my inventory i have a magic/passive skiller. Will this increase my valk?
Or a light skiller with enigma... and so on.
Nope.
Only +All Skills work for your "non-class" skills.
Ok... but if I take a soso torch on my druid (just to make an example) this will increase my teleport, true?
The worst part is the + to skills that work for the merc but not for you.
Took me awhile to catch on to that.
