What can Blizzard do to make the game multiplayer centric again?

You could argue that this form of gamemode doesn't fit into such a game. Instead, I say let's have even more untypical game modes for multiplayer!

For some reason an idea of "Diablo Party" flashed before my eyes. Like Mario Party, but with Diablo. Go around the world collecting gear, use the gear to beat up/work with your friends in mini-games. It's a terrible idea but would be hilarious.
