Worldstone Destruction

In D2, the most climactic event is destruction of the Worldstone. Yet, I don't see any references to this event in D3 lore. Is it somewhere there, or they simply decided to make Adria the new Uber *****, modeling her after Kerrigan? XD

Well, I think the fact that you are running around at the "Arreat crater" is enough a reference to the D2.
