Speaking of questionable, does this resolve any question about the status of food stamp recipients?

More fuel on the fire, as if it wasn't obvious.

"For decades the U.S. government has knowingly given illegal immigrants food stamps, according to a former certification case worker who denounced the costly practice back in the 1980s but was essentially ordered to keep a lid on it."

    Re: American Homeless people

Interesting side-note. Guaranteed that the Left will cry foul because the guy had to break his own conditions and therefore ran over cost.

“The SNAP Challenge is a great tool to show how much savings we can find in the budget,” said Ferguson. “The only thing Democrats proved is they can’t budget or control spending. Their only defense is to trash the SNAP Challenge as an unrealistic publicity stunt.”

We really ought to recognize the obvious economic truths, and never will: the assorted "safety net" concepts (food stamps, minimum wage) simply don't work when centrally controlled, yet the Federal Gov't won't return them to state-level jurisdiction and reduce their takings by the amount supposedly transferred back. To do so would be in line with the Constitution, but would mean far less budgetary power for D.C.
