Gold drops down?

I was playing today and noticed that the gold drops seemed smaller than normal. I used to see 1000+ drops constantly, and now they seem far more rare. Am I having a bad day, or did the gold drops get cut at some point this past week? Nothing has changed that should effect drop rate.

i'm kind of a big deal.

I have to admit, after playing a little later this week, I jumped the gun. It looks like I was just having a really crummy weekend. It seemed closer to what I was used to.

Something like this is a bit difficult to do subjectively. I haven't noticed anything myself, although I don't keep close enough track to be aware unless there was a drastic change (the vast majority of my gold still comes from selling stuff). I guess one way to know is to keep track of how much gold you get in a certain amount of time or how much you get after doing a certain run.
