One thing that always struck me as odd though... so little explanation on the whole taking over ownership of the Elder Wand. IIRC *spoiler* Harry has to kill Snape (which in the movie I'm pretty sure he doesn't), since it was Snape that killed Dumbledore, and then Harry killing Snape to make sure the Wand doesn't work as it should for Voldemort */spoiler* Also there was this conversation between Harry and Voldemort taking place in the book, which they completely ripped out of the movie. Anyway I'm pretty sure if someone watches the first part of the movie, without reading the book, it makes a lot less sense that it could've, because of omitted details.

okay, dude, after we saw the movie we had this hour-long discussion about it. No, it makes sense to no one, but... I don't remember where I was going with that other than it makes no sense and if this had been the case all along, Harry would have a huge.... amount of wands.

I did enjoy the movies though, but I can just imagine how confusing it would be to someone who didn't read the book, especially the first part. :P

There were many hefty goofys in these Sport Goofy cartoons, but they were either regular schlubs in the crowd or other athletes.

Disney is more violent than any collection of union thugs when it comes to protecting their I.P. - they famously shut down charity-run child care centers because of having Mickey painted on the wall.

The nice thing about "charity groups" is that you don't have to pay them, plus they can be disavowed if one of them has sex with an eight-year-old on stage or something.
