1.0.5 ctd

Since 1.0.5 the game keeps crashing at random times. Today our group was farming in act3 and the game crashed for all of us.
Yesterday was even worse though. I was farming in act 1 and i couldn't get past the warden because the game crashed before i could kill him.
I tried 5 times with no success, gave up, logged out and went to bed.

This bug has to be fixed or revert the game back to 1.0.4.

This is ridiculos i can't finish act 1 because it always crashes in the cursed hold when looking for the prisoners...
This started in 1.0.5. I'm really the only one crashing here??

Great so how am i supposed to get to act 2..

Google much? This is nothing new nor anything to do with 1.0.5.
I had same problem months ago and this fixed it instantly, took me longer to find the answer than to fix it since theres a million and one whine threads about it.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a shot. Game has crashed about 6 times since patch.

Thx Tahini. I hope it works. Act 1 is fun to farm now with monster powers.

Didn't work.

Same old, same old. I crash almost immediately upon entering the cursed hold in act 1. This means i can't reach act 2 with my demon hunter.
I don't know what to do now.

Are you sure you deleted the correct folder? I was having that same message @ cursed hold and then it got worse and happened most of the time when i zoned into a new area and basically anywhere in act3, but doing this fixed it for me right away.

Update: 1.0.5a did nothing for me. Still crash in cursed hold after approximately 1 minute of gameplay.

Tahani: Yes i did. And i did it again after the game updated to 1.0.5a. Apparently this ctd problem has nothing to do with cached files. Thanks anyway for helping.

Could a moderator move this thread to a more appropriate forum? I didn't notice until now i posted this in general discussion. Should be in Tech support yes?
