It's four days
Religion is just one of the various motives for killing people. There are other motives on which you can work with a much higher success rate, so if it was just about murder, religion would be on the list, but not that much at the top. 17 murders of that kind in Nigeria in two days is pretty impressing, however.

What race is Islam, Bob?
Shame on y'all - it's the Religion of Peace (TM)!

That (infidel) dog doesn't hunt, kris. If that were true, your consistent homicide rate would track far higher in other areas. Now, both war and economics <do> have associated violence statistics, such as that both New Orleans and Washington D.C. had higher per capita murder than Baghdad at the height of Bush's invasion, but we're talking Peace here!
Bob didn't link our mutual source; the things I do for him...
People aren't just afraid of murder, but of dying in general. That includes ending up as collateral damage or being confused with the enemy.

don't strain yourself or anything.
and they are only as good as the commanders.
WTF is Obama still doing there?
On to Bradly Manning.
and why is he in jail and not the system and warrant officers that let a private have that access given hindsight if you want to talk real treason by reason of incompetency.

False. Much has to do with our mentality, as well as with the structure of our Army; in many other countries the conscription mentality forces micromanagement.
He's trying to make sure that he can't be labeled "The man who lost X" by keeping a finger in every pie, at least until he can do lasting damage to the U.S. GOP. Of course, there's still time for a little Willie Horton goodness.
When you earn a Top Secret - Special Background Investigation clearance, as I had, it doesn't mean they can control your mind - just that you don't have any obvious flaws or potholes in your history. I suspect Manning's closeted homosexuality and borderline fruitcake Anonymous mentality weren't noticed during his processing, and his over-the-top narcissism would have been easily confused with standard military pride.
He was a trusted 'agent', Bob. He had access to that information because he was supposed to have access to that information. He's a treasonous little shytebag, and if I was invited to be his executioner I would smile as I pulled the trigger. No joke. One less piece of despicable vermin in the world. Words cannot express how much I detest this punk traitor, and it has nothing to do with his being queer and everything to do with him claiming that his being queer drove him to join Anonymous and betray his Oath, his Country, and his fellow soldiers. I know I served with a couple of queer or bi soldiers, and none of them were in any way of questionable allegiance.
His very existence is a slur against homosexuality, and those defending him should be ashamed of themselves. Assange may be a commie arsewipe, but he's <always> been a commie arsewipe who hates America and the West - where Manning is the lowest form of existence IMO.
PROPERLY translated, Islam = "Submission", as in "Submission to the will of Allah", not "Peace" as CAIR and other misinformation groups claim.
Christians say the damnedest things.
