I am only interested in a few of the sub-forums here, thus i filter my search for "new posts"
so it will only show what is relevant to me. This is how you do it:
Add a bookmark to any forum page and call it "Diablo Inc New" or something like that.
Edit the URL to this:
http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post&exclude=2,3,177,39
Keyword here is "exclude" which does exactly that. Excludes any forums whose id you have in the list.
This specific example gives you all new posts EXCEPT from the forums listed.
You can also use "include" in the exact opposite manner....!
http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post&include=2,3,177,39
The above will give you only posts from these forums.
If you go to the front page where every forum is listed (http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/forum.php)
If you hover over the forum name, you'll see the URL in the bottom of your browser.
For example, Diablo Story and Lore has:
http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?135-Diablo-3-Story-and-Lore
The bold-marked number is the id which you want to add to (or remove from) the list.
Why did this get moved from General Discussion?
It is not feedback to you
It is not a suggestion to you
It is not me wanting support from you
It is a good tip that saves alot of time for many forum users and it will get ZERO attention in here.
