Barb reached lvl 60 - Need a 2nd pair of eyes

Hi, I just finished my barb in getting lvl 60.
Still a long way to go for paragon leveling, and so far I really like the barb, and will maybe become my main instead of my Monk (Monk is much more expensive to buy gear for and dies a lot more).

So far I spent about 500~600k on items and these are the stats:

My question is, what items could be easily upgraded for a small amount of gold?

I haven't improved on my Amulet/Rings and gloves/shoulder/belt all could use a bit more all res and better stats. Glove + shoulders and ammy and rings all aren't lvl 60 yet.

2nd question, any 'cheap' legendaries that are worth getting? I currently own a 'Sultan of Blinding Sand' and a 'Legacy' Goldskin armor, both nothing special and I don't use them.

I have seen a 'String of Ears' for low cost that looks like it could improve a big deal of stats. Any other options/legacy legendaries that might be a 'must have'?

I am not looking for someone to tell me 'get max this and max that' because my char is already in the 'ok' section of playing Inferno A1, but if there are any areas in where I have completely missed the point I would really like for someone to point that out to me. I have never found anything that I could sell for more than 300k so still hoping for a drop that is worth more to make my D3 life easier...

Are there any other builds than one could recommend for my setup?
I'm thinking of switching out leap for Wrath of the Berserker with Insanity rune.

I've seen a 'Sprint' guide but it didn't really work for me, and I don't know why. Also the Whirlwind builds I see here don't really work for me, I just run out of Frenzy pts even when I use all the crit and Frenzy-gain boosting skills.

When you look to upgrade your jewellry, look for items with the "life on hit" modifier as well as resistances and the usual stats and mods. 350 odd life per hit isn't great for act 2 inferno and beyond. My barb's running +1050 life per hit and I still want more.

You could look at the immortal king (legacy) and blackthornes (legacy) items. The new v1.04 improved versions command big sums of gp in the AH, and the earlier versions have come down in price. The new versions are very uber but there is nothing wrong with the earlier versions. Two items of the IK set such as the armor and belt, gloves or boots grants an extra 60% resist all. Also Have a look at Blackthornes pants.

First of all, you have the same icon as Aerial! My favorite member (besides BrotherLaz), nice.

I have bought the Sage's Boots and Gloves (not legact) now as you can see:

They add some good resistances which I didn't have before, they give me more vit, str and more armor. Also a little bit of life regen and the gloves give more crit hit chance which should come in handy in some crit-based builds.

Also upgraded the weapon from a 150 life/hit to around 493 life/hit. Still not the best, but the lifesteal is more than tripled this way already. I can run A2 inferno without dying playing solo in a 4p game, except bosses. Solo it's a piece of cake, but thanks to the killspeed I like to run a 4p game so we progress faster towards A3 which is my ultimate goal to farm.

With all the new stuff I got now, I spent a little over 1 million on my items so I went from the 2.4 I had to 1 mil. Since the v1.0.4 I haven't been able to make much gold, so I should work on that.

Also willing to try a new build, you can see the skills I am using currently in my char chart.

I will look for a better ring with life/hit I must have something laying around!

No problem. I see you have made some upgrades. Very nice!
Most players go for Life on hit over life leech. A combo of both can work. The bottom line is if your character is replenishing enough life back during combat then your good. If that takes 1200 LoH or 500 Loh + 7.0% life leech then so be it.
if your happy with your life on hit/leech, then look for other goodies on your ring upgrades. Attack speed is good, stats, resists, etc. I think you have a pretty good picture of what your character needs by now. Personally I'd say a bit more resists, get your base resists to 500-600 before war cry, crit hit/chance and more of anything else, vitality, strength, magic/gold find etc.

The only build i have yet to try is a range/throw barb. If the WW/nado build isn't working for you, have you tried a charge/nado build?

Alternatively, you can just go tank. I see that you have a shield so it shouldn't be that hard a transition for you. Your current build is very similar to mine. This is the build that i'm currently running with:

I'm going with the rend/revenge combo. The beauty of this is that these skills fill up my life and that freed up all the loh slots that i use to have to put on my gear. I'm currently running act 3/4 without any loh or ls and dying is a very rare event (i.e., after 4 hrs of game play yesterday, I didnt die once). i also like charge...the merciless assault rune allows you to have zero cooldown so you can spam the charge. I like to charge into a mob in act 3, hit rend/revenge(if available), then charge again within the mob. Rinse/repeat. Charge also allows you a nice escape skill or allows you to get into a more defensive position.

I've been trying to sell my items for some extra buck, but it's without any good luck..

Also, been looking into getting a better weapon, specifically looking for more attack speed so the LoH will work better and the Frenzy will hit 5stacks faster.

Saw a dagger with 1k dmg, 500 LoH and attack speed 1.59 too bad I had just bought the wrong weapon before it so I couldn't pay for it. Got 1.4 million to spend now.. There must be something coming soon!

Just really really really want to get a weapon with over 1k dmg, > 500 LoH and good attack speed, at least over 1.4/1.5 because the one I have now is only 1.2 and it's so damn slow!

Pfff i'm tired of this, after bidding on a wrong item 3 times I lost so much money. First I bought life after kill instead of life on hit, and now I bid on a shield with Arcane res instead of All res.

Sucks you can't turn back your bids.

I'm done with Ah'ing for a year now.

If you want LoH on your item make sure it is in your search fields. I get frustrated with the AH as well, mostly because items are worth 3 levels 50-200k, 1-2m, or 15+m it seems like there is no in between when selling items.

If you want to play the Sprint WW builds, Focus on MH Axe or Mace with Good Base Damage and Crit Damage, 1200 LoH, 20+Crit Hit on gear. Plenty of guides out there.

Don't be afraid to use a dps calculator, I've found a lot of times that 125 Str and 50 Crit Damage on a weapon can make up over 100 base dps on the weapon.
