20 heal/fury. Since we can maintain Thrive on Chaos, we know we're getting minimum 25 fury/second. It's probably even more, not to mention sprint. At ~40 fury second average it heals for quite a decent amount. Thinking about getting one with life/hit, maybe a socket too, as the offhand on my WW barb. I guess more attack speed would mean faster fury spending, thus more heals..?
40 x 20 = 800 life per second. Pretty good, but you can't get LoH and a socket on top of that, because it only has one random property. So I'd say it isn't better than most rares we see, considering you can get LoH, LS and socket for crit damage on them while having pretty much the same DPS.
However, if you have a high attack speed build (like over 2 aps), it could be better than most rares.
what are they selling for on the AH? If you can get one with a socket, it may be worth a try
This sword seems pretty affective as an off hand for a WW barb. its no good for the main hand since you'll lose the 10% axe/mace crit bonus
EDIT:
ok, if you can't get LOH and a socket then this sword is no good
You can't get 2 random properties, but you can get upwards of 900 life/hit. I saw one on the AH with 927dps and 900 LoH for 13million. No one really "knows about them" yet so hey are reasonably cheap. To be honest I'd be happy with just LoH or justa socket for an emerald. Strength bonus can be big, too, and WW ticks faster than your APS. I have 1.61 aps [dual-wield 1.4aps], WW'd for 3 seconds and got over 11 WW activations (you can tell when the resource globe dips down, i was recovering fury through a bunch of random low damage nadoes and using a stopwatch. average over 3 trials). 11*16 = 176 fury/3 seconds = 60 fury/sec = 1200 life/second. My barb has 1700 LoH and 500 regen, so I can only imagine with a tad higher APS, you really couldn't die as long as you were spending fury.
