I don't remember if I posted this here when I first discovered it several months ago (don't think I did), but this really, really, deserves more views.
I am a hater of fan vids on YouTube. Almost without fail they are awful and make your eyes bleed. You ever hear of Uwe Boll? Most of the **** on YouTube makes his stuff look like The Godfather. Uwe Boll should be a warning to never give these people money. But I digress... The point is, I like this fan vid. It is so well put together that it simply shouldn't be missed.
A great tribute to the works of God himself, Joss Whedon. Only 8.7k views is a travesty, especially when you consider what else on YouTube has been hit hundreds of millions of times.
Even if you don't know or like the works of Joss Whedon or hate that song and whoever is singing it, if you appreciate well-edited video, this is a must-see.

Lame. Guess I'll have to search.... and.... hmm... I found this. Not sure if this is it. Since I have not finished Dollhouse, I think I started catching some spoilers.... damnit. so I stopped towards the end. Link:

Wow. Same song, different footage and editor. There must have been a competition or a forum challenge or something because there's at least four more showing in the related list. That one's decent, but it's trying too hard to be a "stylish" music video and just ends up looking a bit messy.
The one in the OP is available in the US from Vimeo.
thank you! I am excited. ^_^
EDIT: This one is revealing a bit more spoilers, but way better than the one I linked! Completely kick ***! thank you once again!

Wow, I thought that only happens to us Germans.
We have an agency here which deals with these issues in the name of all artists who are members (which you are by default), GEMA. They failed at finding an agreement with youtube and I think it's mainly GEMA's fault. They are mostly concerned about maintaining, dividing up and using their power instead of working to the advantage of their customers, just like many organizations which live from and work with other people's property without having to earn their trust.

You know I'm born to lose / and gambling is for fools / but that's the way I like it, baby / I don't want to live forever!
We get that here too. What makes it worse is that they slap these bans on the official video clips... but then don't upload those same clips on their "official" YouTube channels. To add insult to injury, music videos are advertising a product, they are not the product themselves.
One Fun thing about working support for an international IT cooperation is that I can RDP VNP a IP from a few places on every continent.
