For anyone who hasn't tried Wall of Light yet, it finally does what it should do: absurd damage!
Patch 1.0.4 is out! It's really good, but not the end-all solution. In this video, I do a quick overview of 1.0.4 and then get right to the important stuff: DROPPIN' BELLS, MUTHA****A!!! :P
Here's the build I'm using:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...Xkg!Ubc!cacbaa
Ideally, you would want to use a two-handed weapon with this build to maximize your GIANT BELL damage. It still works with 2x one-handers, or a one-hander and a shield, but ideally a beefy two-handed weapon is the way to go.
This build is not about survivability and it will not be good for areas that you are still "progressing" in-- so for a lot of people this means you should only use it in Act 1 and Act 2. That said, you will absolutely destroy Champion and Elite monsters in Act 1 and Act 2, because the damage is AMAZING!
As a minor spoiler, you can see me one-shotting several Elite monsters, most notably the Warden just before the Butcher![]()
way too much spirit usage in the combo to be really usefull - need to recharge too often on mobs so can't really skip a lot.
BELL!
I think if this skill's base cost was lowered to 50, it would be prime. The damage is lovely, at least.
But at this point, you can hit even higher numbers for better resource cost using Spinning Flame/Vulture Claw with Magefists and Burning Axe of Sankis.
FALCON KICK!
Yeah, I think the rest of the rune variants need to be reduced to 50 spirit, but Wall of Light should remain 50 spirit. It'd be solid at that point
2-handed video update!

I wonder.
Almighty metal music man, could you make a video of a Monk with Burning Axe of Sankis + Magefists using Spinning Flame Kick (294% fire damage for 30 spirit). I bet it'll be fiery, I guarantee it.
You have to kill trash anyway now, it drops lots of loot and gives paragon xp. If you skip trash to kill elites your paragon xp will be garbage.
I've been liking this build:

Yeah, foresight is nice, but with quickening you can pretty much just poop out as many bells as you feel like. I haven't got a good 2h to try yet, I suppose quickening and cyclone wouldn't be as good with a big slow 2h, might want foresight and inner storm.
So I discovered a new pretty cool bell build.
It doesn't use a 2H, but you can spam bells all day, and let's you say BELL!! more, which is reason enough.
It's actually 2 Bell builds. It uses a high crit chance with Quicksilver for bomb spirit, and then spams Blinding Light rune to stun everything. The problem I'm having is survivability, as losing Thunderclap cuts your Life on Hit in half. For a pure stun route, you can forgo some damage (crit damage, dex) for attack speed. Faster attacks = more spirit = more bells = more stun = more fun.
Replace the rune with the one that reduces spirit cost to spam bells forever.
You might want to share the build, else it's hard to comment on it.
Well there's not much to share, haha, it works by simply spamming bells and depend son your gear. I can stun a lot, but my defenses and damage are low.
