After attempting to play a Witch Doctor using the Fetish Sycophants passive I have come to several conclusions regarding its use. It requires very high attack speed to make it remotely useful and even with an attack speed of 2.20attacks/sec; you only get 2-3 fetishes on average at any one. I have to be constantly attacking to summon 4-5 fetishes, something that is hard to achieve. In my opinion, due to the high IAS requirements and the fact that Fetish Sycophants eats a passive slot, the passive is simply not useful in its present state. This seems to be further compounded by the new patch, which allows z-dogs to be summoned quickly and easily.
I wanted to propose this as a possible fix to the passive:
Whenever your character is below 30% health, you summon a fetish to fight by your side every 6 seconds. Summoned fetishes fight with you for 60 seconds before dying. Each fetish does 20% of your weapon damage.
This fix decouples fetish summoning from your IAS value. Now, the passive can be used defensively or for strategic purposes.
What does the community think of this, and of the skill in its present form?

It somewhat intersect with my question if the proc nerfs(1.04) cause to proc fetisch passive less often (that would be a bug ) and gamebreaking for that passive.
About the "fix" , i am not been under 30% ones during my runs yesterday .... sooo not a fix for me
I guess the easiest kind of fix would be to make them spawn faster but cap them at like 6 or so.
Or make it a kind of Circle of Life but for Sycophants. Since they have a higher cap number than ZDs, making it a 5~10% chance when a mob dies would be awesome.
