I can tell you've never beaten the first disc lol.

I never beat this, either.
I actually made it to the last dungeon, and in this dungeon you get to choose where to place the save point. I wanted to put it right before the final boss, but I walked too far, and never got to place it before being forced to fight the final bosses. Then I lost to the last last last one. *sigh*
I suppose one day I could do it but I don't think I care enough. My game went missing, too, so that doesn't help.
There's a part in the final dungeon when you split up your team, so you go one way with a few people, and send the rest a different way (to pick up the loot and everything, too!). I made a mistake when I chose "such and such go this way", and so I just made everyone go that way except for cloud under the assumption it would let me confirm my choice. It didn't. I had to solo half of the dungeon with just Cloud and no saves. You can imagine how scared I w3as of Tonberry fights *shudders*

Maybe it's just me not being a native speaker - but that just sounds mean xD (as in: the cycle ends when he (= his life) ends - don't know if it could be interpreted that way by a native speaker. In German, it could.). Hope your kids get better soon!

RL: Exhausting day at work, we (i.e. the firemen) had to rescue a girl from our roof and she really wasn't well at all, as you can imagine. Sill thinking about what I could have done to make the day a bit brighter and better for her.

D2: Tried to distract me from above thoughts with D2, but to no avail. Still, my Random Arctic Blast Druid defeated Blood Raven in Hell.

OVG: Installed patch 1.04 for D3, maybe will give it a shot. But maybe not.

Yuffie, vincent and cid have the best double-growth weapons too... double slots instead of single ones. Only with one weapon, the conformer, does yuffie morph at attack strength, but it's still cool when you get things like mega-all

I've watched the end fight against that machine thing. I know a little about the master-materia (or w/e). Don't know how to find the parts for it.
Not saying I won't look up tips to the game, as I would love to find everything-ish useful during this run. FFVII is what, 70 something hours?

Probably if you don't know everything and want to not miss anything. I missed tons. That game has the best watercraft ever.
I don't remember anything about a master materia. some random quest thing? Sounds like it. Maybe you get it at the *cough* cold sausage *cough* (gold saucer)

Oh man, FF7. The boards are conspiring to make me feel old today...

I'd say that was the first game I really played the hell out of. I'm not going to textwall about it, I'll just give one example that should give an idea how much of my teenage years were wasted on that game.

My usual party was Cid/Cloud/Yuffie because of Morph (Gelnika, max stats, gg) and multi-hit Limits. Armor, across the board: Wizard Bracelet with 8x Counter-Attack. Acquired in the usual grindy way. Because when you've been playing that long, you'll want to reduce random encounters to "look at something else for a bit".

RL: Just got done with work. My job rules. I work with people with special needs (it's a transitional living facility for high functioning people, basically a house with 5 people connected to another house with five people next to a similarly set up 2 houses).

So tonight I worked one on one with a guy. We went to a picnic and played kickball. Then played Wii. I get paid for this.

D2: I'm a newb. I started playing a fishymancer as my first character and got him to around level 50 and then got bored of not being able to teleport, so I'm working through with a sorc now. I'm already up to level 60 but my gear is teeerrible. I'm still trying to work my way out of nightmare but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to pindle or eldritch level more before I can take out the lister/baal. And I plan on doing some more meph runs. I have a decently set up map right now, I got a mega baller countess set up and then settled for the meph and andy set up. They aren't terrible, a full clear of those 4 things takes me under 5ish minutes. I got my spirit runeword after bringing a cow level crystal sword to Larzuk (my luck is terrible with socketted drops). Somehow I managed to roll a 35% on my second roll, so my cast rate is pretty off the chain right now, which feels great with my teleport! I'm having a blast. Back to the grind!

once you hit 42° you might want to consider going to the hospital

What is that, like almost 105f? That's quite a lot. Might want to see a doctor at that level.
