Ugh. Well, that's one side of ARPGs I never wanted to come back to Diablo 3. QUICK, LET'S DISTRACT PEOPLE FROM THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO END-GAME BY ARBITRARILY GIVING THEM A NEW GOAL TO GRIND TO! AND TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN'T IGNORE PUT, PUT A SUBSTANTIAL POWER INCREASE TO IT!
That said, I like what comes packaged with it - MF/GF system as items being phased out, drop rate increases that should actually result in more legendarily dropping over time for people who suck at gearing MF + Killing (like meee).
Also, this. The Legendary buff was a step in the right direction, but items still need expansion with core affixes that introduce more alternatives to the existing stat arrays.Meh this is bad - makes the itemization even more linear.. What to buy now? always and everytime the same item will be best; there's hardly any tradeoff between speed & MF in the future. .And you'll just look into speeding up farming. Really a cap of 300% is way to low, it's already achievable now, better would be a cap of 400 or 500..
It's an interesting addition to the game. A side bar leveling system. My first question was why didn't they just increase the level cap? But this is better since it adds new ways to MF, even for non-MF type of characters/builds. I like it. We'll have to wait and see how it plays out.
Rose: You're an alien? You sound like you're from the North.
Doctor: LOTS of planets have a North!!!
**** these loser changes.
All they did was extend the treadmill. You're still gonna do VOTA/Core runs until the end of time.
The real question, what happened to them saying they will bring back first boss kill reward after normal?
Oh well.
I argued for not having a MF gear stat before release, so I guess I should be happy about this. Even so, its a bit silly to see how much they can flip flop on their game design. Is Mitt Romney behind the development of D3 or something?
This is making Inferno even easier though. Which is sad.
I was always fine with the lvl 60 cap, so I'm a bit indifferent about 100 new grindy paragon levels. On the other hand, watching an XP bar grow up is part of the experience. It cant exactly make the game worse to have those paragon levels, though probably not better either.
In any case, DISAPPOINTED that the 500 kills = legendary item idea isn't true.
