The fact that someone in his position would actually write "f*** that loser" about one of the creators of the series is pretty despicable. I'll keep the game and my enjoyment of it separate, but it is disheartening that more integrity isn't shown by the current people in charge there.
No, they aren't in this case. I have seen it with my own eyes
It's there for all the world to see. I didn't expect much from Jay Wilson, but I am certainly very disappointed and saddened reading some of the things they mentioned there.

Jay Wilson's team may not have had the experience that Blizzard North did in ARPG's. In fact, I know they didn't. But Brevik's interview, being short and concise, excluded many factors that truly made that game a success: the audience of the time, and state of the industry.
Their team had experience making two games, and some critical advice came from "Blizzard South," such as not making it turn-based and not making it claymation. Oh, and not making it an MMO for Diablo 3.
That being said, give this some perspective. South may not have had that experience, but they poured their heart and soul into a game for ten years. The sheer amount of testing and iteration that went into this game is enormous. The game has been here, there, and everywhere in between. When somebody says in less than 5 minutes that your product is mediocre, that is going to touch nerves. These developers are people, and let me tell you that I would be angered by hearing what was said given their perspective.
But don't get me wrong. Even if it was 100% deserved, there are right and wrong ways to say things. He did not explain his opinion well on a very sensitive subject. Blizzard was wrong for releasing an unfinished game, sure, but Brevik paid very little credence to what it took to get it out the door.
No matter how one sided the interview was mainly it being short and couldn't cover good sides of D3, person on position like Jay might suffer some consequences for this. Vivendi being a French company does not look this kind of publicity for long.
Edit: Might add that things like this should never go public, but **** happens so better always to keep mouth shut on facebook. I'm willing to forget everything if some nice legendaries drop after patch
Not only that, but to then go ahead and continue MOCKING him due to the failure of hellgate london. Wow.... None of them would be working on Diablo 3, and jay wilson would be a nobody if it wasn't for the work that blizzard north put in. It is a complete disgrace for them to be spewing this complete garbage. I understand you want to 'stand up' for yourselves and your fellow employees but do it in a respectable manner.
I thought David Brevik interview was rather gentle and diplomatic actually. In fact if he was to be any more diplomatic it would have strayed into the territory of uninteresting PR babble. We got some good answers. However his mistake was not bringing out many positives about D3 and not elaborating on some vague statements that could be interpreted as subtle digs if one so chooses. Still the reaction of Blizzard is ridiculous and quite defensive
Removed the comment, well tomorrow's MF blog is going to be riddled with **** you loser. posts I am sure.
Moreover, I expect a full apology from JW because of his and his staff's bad behavior.
This is going to be an interesting week.
What's consensus on JW comments: fake or real? I know there are thousands of troll whiners trying to undermine Blizz'a rep every step of the way, wouldn't be surprised if they went that route too.
I captured the list of people who Liked the comment, including several Blizzard employees. See the first page of this thread for the list.
