New to HC quick probably stupid question .

Okay I am a die hard softcore player , think I once made a couple hc chars in D2 wayyyy back when .

Now , 9 of my slots are taken up , 5 with the different classes , all 60 and in inferno , 2 x mules and 2 x chars my daughters played on to try it out . So that's 9 slots .

I have one slot left , if I die in HC with that last spot , would that mean I would lose my stash too because I have no room to make another char ?

I can ofc delete the 2 chars my daughters played , just wondered what would happen when you can only make 1 HC char .

If anyone can understand that and can answer it , cheers

If you die in HC you can move your character over to "Fallen Heroes" when they die. Then you'll have 9 open spots again.

No, I believe your HC stash, auction house, crafting upgrades etc are persistent - even if you have no 'live' HC characters

No, Stash is completely tied to your account and has nothing to do with your characters. They're just the "Key" to your "Mail Box". Losing the key doesn't lose the stuff you have inside your mail box.

Thanks , tbh I was gobsmacked when I rolled the char , I thought there would be 10 HC slots seperate to the SC slots .

You can only move a HC char to Fallen Heroes when they get to level 10 ... guess how I found that out? :o You have to delete it instead.
