The new "Three Hundredth Spear" has no Magic Find. Buy the old ones before too late?

The current Three Hundredth Spear is much like the other current Legendary Items: Terrible. However, it did have one good thing going for it - it's the only weapon with Magic Find on it. This makes it the ideal weapon for a companion, as you get a percentage of your companion's magic find gear, too.

Since the Magic Find version of this weapon will no longer drop after 1.0.4, do you think it's worth spending 1m on it? I'm guessing it will increase in value. No idea, tough.

it depends on whether the new spear benefits you with the improved stats, for me i wouldn't buy the new spear cause i don't use weapons throw dmg or spear unless its buffed. If its not buffed, then i would just stick with the old one for the companion.

I pulled the trigger immediately, and bought several at the 800k price point. I've already resold them at 3.5m, which I think is going to be a consistent value for these, at least til the patch. It could be worth a lot lot more after the patch, but that will depend if a different legendary picks up the +MF mod.

What's really weird (but cool) about this, is that the last 2 legendaries I found were both Three Hundredth Spears.

MF is capped on followers at 20%? so rings and amulets with MF are good enough. better give her/him fire chains or some other new cool thing...

Well that's a bit of a silly question. The only public information we have is what they've shown us in the preview. They did say some legendaries won't be changed, so there is possibly some hope that they won't change Sunkeeper, which is the other MF weapon.

I personally think this can be an overreaction. It's possible that they could introduce other legendaries with MF as a base stat but we're not gonna know until we see the full listing. So if u're trying to make money off the MF weapons, I would probably cash it in now unless u really want to gamble on the next patch.
