    The color of legendaries is too close to greys. I have almost missed a couple of them.
    There should be a special sound when a legendary drops like a huge fanfare that all players hear.

    In D2 there was that really satisfying sound when jewelry dropped.

    Agreed on the color. the green set items also look to similar to yellow IMO. But the visual department made them glitter even more! when equipped... Sounds are there, but seem lower in volume than D2... I think the fanfare should sound on all chat channels

    lol, those stat buffs are so ridiculously huge, it really highlights just how bad those legendaries were. Particularly on Skorn where the bleed proc went from 13% 1000 dmg, to 95%, 9000+ DMG! Gosh, with how rarely the damn things drop, they better be godly.

    Wonder if we'll see a buff to proc effects in general...

    Wow, love some of the new effects. Totally getting a Maximus, and the one that summons the angel.

    Yeah I agree that legendaries are really hard to see. I almost missed a legendary ring once that dropped during act 2 because it kind of blended in to the sand. Probably also because u don't expect them to drop very often, so you're not always on a constant look for them.

    I hope we don't need to wait another 4 days before the next blog post though =\

    "We used to reduce the value of certain affixes on Legendary items because we were concerned that having fixed affixes would make them unbalanced. What it actually did was make those items kind of crappy. For example, if the item's level (ilvl) was 50, the first affix would always roll at 50, then the next would roll at 47, and the next would roll at 43. This was done to offset the power of fixed affixes in a random world, but we've learned it's not necessary, and Legendary items being powerful is OK."

    first: :S second: they could have just made a higher range instead of fixed? three: what were they thinking last 5 years... four: are they becoming honest???

    These new items look terrible. J/k, they actually look pretty cool. This is how I feel it should have been the whole time. Rares give you basic but powerful stats. Legendarys give you unique, powerful stats. Rares = spot warmers while you hunt for the hard to find Legendarys.

    I wonder if we'll be able to wall our enemies with the new item-monster affixes.

    probably. seems they had some elite affix code laying around which they put on items
