Hi guys, i was searching the EU auction house for flippable items, and found this [picture below]. I was half tempted to buy the cheapest gloves and post it for like 7 million, but then i looked at the remaining time and that made me worried. In the end i did not buy the item thinking that it would have been sniped by now if it was flippable. However I am still curious why is it not worth to flip that item, so I thought i'd post a picture here with my search options, and the proprties of the first 3 items, so you might be able to tell me, because i'm kinda new at flipping.
BTW this was a day after the "unbuyable items" bug of the EU auction house, so that's not it.
It's probably a combination of things (and anyone feel free to correct me here, because i'm a novice trader)
1.) There are more important stats to be found on gloves than AR. - so prices may be misplaced based on the high AR value
2.) The others have 70+ AR which is closing in on perfect - so more value
3.) The 69 LR is not any better than 49 lightRes or 65 Dex
4.) One of the others has a perfect roll on crit chance - so more value
5.) The others have not sold either - so may be over priced as well
6.) The others have more INT (marginally but still 15-25)
Other notes:
If you saw this screen and were confident that the other 2 were priced at market value or there abouts. to undercut them at the 7mil price you mentioned you would probably want your item to be much closer to their stats.
Remember Perfect or near perfect (90-100%) stats gain value exponentially. So 62AR is a long way off 72AR.
Also where are the other gloves with 60+ AR? I'm not sure if you are on the 1st page but that sort of gaping hole should raise alarm bells.
I think it's because gloves can spawn with IAS, crit chance AND crit hit damage - gloves with only one of these most popular damage stats just aren't worth all that much, no matter how good the other stats are.
