I was wondering has anyone here ever made a javazon using dual dream?

[edit] So, just to break it down:

Slvl 30 Holy Shock gives 1-6668 lightning damage.

Assuming complete synergies and +9 skills on your Javazon (+2 Amulet, +4 Weapon, +1 Armor, +2 Gloves, which is quite manageable):

Power Strike: 9 - 11,484
Lightning Bolt: 3 - 2,760 + 132 (average damage from upped non-eth average Titan's) = 135 - 2,892
Charged Strike: 9 - 4,806 * 8 = 72 - 38,448
Lightning Strike: 7 - 3,811 * 30 = 210 - 114,330
Lightning Fury: 1 - 1,818 * 30 = 30 - 54,540

The damage added is pretty small. Even Power Strike benefits more from an additional +4 skills (+2 helm, +2 shield) than Holy Shock.

The lightning damage would be totally negligible even it worked with lightningfury. And it doesn't.

But maybe the pulse damage makes the monsters go towards you, making your javelins hit more targets. But then just either the helm or the shield would be enough (unless the range is increased?). But you may get the same effect if you give it to your merc, or maybe use Attract charges. But your actual damage won't really increase that much.

Actually, unsynergized level 30 HS is 1-1668 dmg ( 834 avg ).
I think dual dreams doesn't even really make sense on a paladin, as you can get conviction from infinity and have a higher level holy shock of your own. Ultimately, 'dream' is a rich man's toy used in 'weird' builds ( like melee sorc, tri aura paladins ).

Doesn't even really make sense? Lower HS level is more than made up for by increased -res of your native Conviction or ED from Fanat (which also means you don't need IAS from gear). Or you can put Reaper's on your merc. You can make a perfectly good Tesladin without Dream, it's just much worse.

On-topic: Probably not. Since HS's damage can't be added to the bolts and other things and you don't have Lightning Mastery to increase the damage to crazy levels, the ama's own skills end up being much better. *New/different builds are always good, but there's no synergy between any of the zon skills and Dream so it isn't as interesting.
