Hello everyone! I have been a long time lurker on these forums and I have recently become very interested in WW+tornado barbs. I have slowly but surely been building up my barb and he is now capable of clearing act 1/2 with incredible ease however in act 3 I die much more than I would like.
I have about 25M to spend on some upgrades for this guy and before I do so I would like to hear what everyone things would be the biggest improvements for my stats.
I have noticed I have quite a bit higher HP than most other ww barbs. Would it be worth dropping some vitality in exchange for DPS? I was thinking dropping my current bracers for some with 60 AR/4.0% CHC/150 STR. Would it be worth it?
Thanks!

Yes you have way too much life than is necessary (I have 36k life and don't really die in act 3). Switch those bracers like you said.
Also, you could easily upgrade that belt. Search for 180+ strengh some vit and high all res ( life steal on it would be good but it would cost you your entire budget at once).
For WW-Nado build it is better to have a fast offhand, so sword or dagger. You could upgrade that. And a mace for mainhand since the weapon damage is higher (and that's what used to calculate the tornadoes damage, not the dps). All this is for optimal damage, so it's not mandatory.
You second ring also can be upgraded. Try to get some strengh or crit chance on it.
You can afford to lose some life on items when you upgrade. You already have plenty of it.
Get some more LoH (by having it on both weapons if you have enough money). When I passed from 1200 to 2000 LoH I really saw the difference.
Hope I helped

Yes technically a mace is better than an axe for his mainhand, but his mainhand axe is quite good, and the speed difference isn't that big. That's one of the last slots I'd look to upgrade.
His biggest issue is low crit chance. Rings and bracers are the first place I'd look. He can easily get another 10% crit from those slots.
I don't recommend dropping below 40k hp. You need a decent buffer for those big hits from stuff like skull cleavers, tremors, phase beasts, malachors, etc.
I just cleared act 4 with no too much trouble, here is a look at my stats if you want to take a look.

One thing to be aware of is that most damage in the game is physical, so look for stuff with both physical and resist all if possible. Ie a 50 res all/ 40 phy res is going to be cheaper than a 75 res all.
First thing I would upgrade looking at your stuff is your bracers, try to find something with 100-120 total between str/vit, 3+ crit and 55+ resist all.
While most monsters deal physical damage, most of the damage that is actually likely to be a problem for you isn't physical. For a whirly build my deaths are almost always due to the combination of waller + ground poop (arcane, molten, desecrator). Honorable mention to shielding + molten on ranged enemies just gradually wearing me down.
I'll never say no to physical resist, but I'm not going to go out and look for it on gear. I'd much rather pick up 50 res all 200 bonus armor instead of 50 res all 40 phys res. Armor as a stat is under-valued on the AH, to spite the fact that it does the same thing as resist all (although thanks to impunity, and already high armor values from strenth/vit, res all does tend to be the better of the two for barbs).
Yes, although desecrator, fire chains, and mortar are all physical. Why fire chains is, I have no idea. And don't discount how hard some of the elites hit on act 3/4, golgors, oppressors, phase beasts, etc. I do agree though that armor is another overlooked stat to some degree.
I guess my point was that some people have it in their mind they need all pieces of armor to have 65-70+ resist all and then get annoyed at how expensive it is when searching (no referring to the op). While if they looked for lower resist all with phy resist or an armor bonus they could save a lot of gold without taking a huge hit in defense.
My deaths are usually due to jailers who then pile a bunch of **** on top of me. I can usually get out of the walls many times by ww'ing back through the enemies and procing LOH. Although in tight spaces I have been completely trapped in by wallers which is a pain in the *** for sure.
