I just wish the patch was already out. Heading into a long weekend here due to a provincial holiday.
I have to say farming makes more sense to me. Nobody knows where things will settle out, but I am betting that as buffed items get found people will either try them out for themselves or try to sell them for ridiculous amounts of gold/$$.
Frankly, I doubt there will be too many "deals" in the marketplace at release. You could find an item that is selling for significantly lower than it had before the patch, but who knows if its price will rebound? All the previously good items could become obsolete. However, I suppose that that is why it is called speculation.
Yeah, if you get lucky and get a Legendary you want to sell right after patch it will be worth a metric ton of $$. Plus if you have the crafting mats and the patterns, wooo..you could really make out selling crafted stuff.
I like farming for gear. Partly because it's Christmas every time I click on something. Now with the improvements coming,who knows, I might actually get something good. lol

The update has a screenshot of an improved 300th Spear that does not have Magic Find. Anecdotally, the prices for these items are currently spiking to triple their recent going rate (it's one of two weapons with Magic Find).
Thankfully, I have one. It's the only Legendary in my possession too (I sold all my other finds). I'll probably hold it until the expansion and try to dump it for a ridiculous price first day.
