    A couple thousand hours later...

Hey everybody ! Haven't been as active on the forums as I would like to be, but I'm looking to change that soon.

I recently re-installed d2 after not having played it for over 2 years. I never really had a good "mf char", but believe me, i did thousands of runs over the years (going back to .08-.10), and never really found much except mid level unique (gazes, tgods, etc)

Fast forward to now. After 4 weeks of on and off playing, i've got my veng/conviction pally up to level 52. Up until i had found a coldkill at level 49, i had been using a kings grace war sword since LEVEL 27..needless to say, the damage wasn't overwhelming. Once i found my coldkill at nm andy, i decided it was serviceable enough for the time being, and pressed on through acts 2 and 3, so i could do meph runs. He hasn't dropped anything useful for my pally yet, but today I woke up a little early, figuring "hey, i'll do a few meph runs before work."

Jump to durance level 3. I'm killing that first pack of annoying blood lords, and chase after the last one remaining, getting him into a corner. Just so happened to be the unique of the pack. I kill him, and see a unique "Ring" drop. "Oh great, I'm about to pick up my 100th manald heal :/ "

...but that wasn't the case this time!!

    The Stone of Jordan
    Ring
    Required Level: 29
    Item Version: 1.10+ Expansion
    Item Level: 58
    Fingerprint: 0x75f514af
    +20 to Mana
    Adds 1-12 lightning damage
    Increase Maximum Mana 25%
    +1 to All Skill Levels

Whee!!! Hahah, I know this won't mean alot to most of you, but I have finally, after hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours of playing this game over the last 6-7 years, I found a Stone of Jordan. If only it was actually useful for my Pally

Just had to share And if anyone is kind enough to tell me, what is an SoJ worth in Single Player? I come from the great time of SoJ currency, but we all know those were dupes, and I know b.net values and SP values are totally different...thanks!

Only 100 Manalds? Welcome to the SPF. Feel free to post any item finds in the Item Find Thread, usually on the first page. And drop by the bar for a drink. Unless of course, you don't want to get to know us.

Oh, almost forgot... Congrats on the SoJ! I've only ever found a handful of them.

To find out what it may be worth, we have a Trade Forum (SPTF) with a pricecheck thread. Head over there, and be sure to check up on the trading rules etc. Personally though, no way I'd trade an SoJ.

Welcome and congrats! I wouldn't trade my only SoJ if I were you. I'd make an energy shield sorc or a Magezon instead.

One in every 75 unique rings is an SOJ, so if you have enough MF, you'll eventually find them.

Congrats! I've been playing since the game came out and have still never had a single one drop, ever, ever.
