Diablo 3 is not in the top 10 in sales for July 2012

It shows that the game may have in fact sold those initial 10 million copies based on hype and is now dramatically slowing down in sales due to all of the bad word of mouth I have been seeing.

As much as I feel Diablo sales have crashed. You can't really compare a PC exclusive game to games that are release on multiple platoforms.

Yeah, I mean it's only top 5 selling PC video games of ALL TIMES, ahead of even your precious D2, yep D3 is a failure, D3 dead in 3 weeks tops, Blizz dead in 2 month tops, etc.

This. Especially given that the #1 game on the list isn't even for the PC; this shows how strongly the console market can affect this kind of thing. It also doesn't include digital distribution as far as I know.

R&U - that is why the staff on this site have been going out of their way to grab PC only sales, occasionally (but not always) including digital copies when available.

Last night I was playing with an IRL couple and they were saying how amazing the game was and they really couldn't believe that 1.04 would contain improvements. They said "what is there to improve?" That said, I disagree with them, I think items need to improve. But what I am offering up is a different perspective than the emo-ragers on this site. Take it for what it is worth.

Hey, not everybody on this site is like that. Go visit the strategy boards or, well, anything but General Discussion. Most of these guys don't even seem to play D3 anymore but hang around to stink up the forum.

You and a few others. Honestly, the most interesting threads I see here are usually the ones that tank fastest, while the gripefests stay bumped up to the top. Frustrating.

That's exactly what I say whenever I see those Just Dance titles up the top.

The only really useful chart is one that is PC exclusive and combines box plus digital sales. To the best of my knowledge there isn't a chart that combines those is there (on either side of the pond)?
