You can find her there... Misty. Of my five HC characters, she's been voted "most likely to die". She's simply too fragile. It might be her skill choices, it might be her gear. Can someone who knows a little about the class, click and comment on what I should be doing with her?
Well, she has the least Vitality of your 5 by... a lot! Wow. Her main stat seems in line with everyone else's though.
I would try to rectify that, even if it's just by resetting the vendors and seeing what they've got that's main + vit. Use Haedrig, too. I see he crafted you an axe. Gather up some more materials and roll some of his armor pieces.
Skillwise... one usually has enough killpower between Sig spell, Blizz and Hydra, and that trio doesn't really soak up the AP badly.
Maybe try out something like this for a while: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...QOS!ZWV!abaZaZ
At lvl 40, swap out one of either Blur or Paralysis for Galvanizing Ward. At 43, take the Fracture rune for Teleport and pair that up with the Illusionist passive. Cold Blooded can stay. Its description is inaccurate. It increases all damage dealt to chilled enemies, at least here and now in 1.0.3. And it doesn't make you weaker like GC does.
Hope that's helpful. I don't play HC, but we SC folks generally try not to get killed, too.
Thanks for the reply...works fine. Haven't given electricute a try. That with the stun should help a lot.
Wizards are actually more durable than demon hunters and even witch doctors, thanks to energy armor. You get a big armor boost from energy armor that just makes you feel far less squishy. My HC wizard also uses a shield. Between that and energy armor you should feel durable enough.
The spec linked above looks fine for level ~40.
