Wizard - Inferno Diablo - ONE Million Gold

Hey guys below is a video of our Wizard killing diablo on inferno with 1 million golds worth of gear.

We are doing this "One Million Challenge" for every class.

The gear was bought from the EU severs. The Diablo solo took us around 15 mins plus.

    Build Used:
    Wizard - http://us.battle.net...QPXO!dbf!cbYZ.Y

One million is quite a bit. A lot of the "budget inferno" people do 300-400k gold gearings. I did 350k on my barb, and with a ranged class it is even easier. Mid-level gear is cheap as balls now that the market is saturated, only top end sells for anything. Individual items that you can buy for 20k gold or even less are items that I would have dreamed about when I was first beating diablo on inferno back in the third week of the game.

If you want a challenge, either lower your gold threshold to a lot lower than 1m, or better yet, do a no-twink run (use only items found on that character).

cuckogaming: The link to the build you used displays the wrong skills. It shows meteor and disintegrate which are not used in the video.

magicrectangle: How much dps can one expect with this budget gear? My wizard has 29k dps with what i would call budget gear. It's my first lvl 60 charachter and i don't think i spent too much gold as the most i had was 1 million.

Also are you sure it's easier with a ranged charachter? I beg to differ. The super fast mobs that are like 3 times faster than my wizard eat me alive. They just hunt me down and there's nothing i can do about it.
I see barbs and monks kill those with ease lol.

Barbs and especially Monks don't do anything if they don't have the minimum gear required for the act. As Ranged, you don't need to have tons of defense if you only want to beat the game.

Wizards have tools against fast mobs too. Illusionist/Teleport+Fracture can help you out a lot when facing annoying fast packs.

I just went ahead and made a video with 300k gold worth of gear. Ended up with 21k dps and ~600 res all (force armor, glass cannon):

Since Diablo is so easy, I figured I'd take that 300k gear set and go to what most people regard as the hardest fight in the game - Ghom:

magic rectangle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RO2aY...eature=related it's a barb video but this is what i was talking about in your youtube link. this guy is clearing everything in the act and the act boss without ruining the stacks. granted this is act 1, the point is the same.

There's really no reason / need to kill Diablo without respecing, because farming act 4 is pointless. Act 3 is much much better loot / time. Which is what I was talking about in my response. Even Ghom, most people don't include him in their MF runs. They'll start with the quest either at siege or at second sin heart, and work backwards killing easily accessible elites through the act. A full quest clear of the act isn't the best loot / time.

I made a separate thread for the 300k wizard, because it seemed like something more people would be interested in:
    http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...zard-300k-gold

But I thought I'd come here to mention that I went ahead and 5-stacked Diablo with the elite killing spec, just for you Dogbert. The diablo fight starts at 39:42:

Act 4 is terrible from a layout/reward perspective. The sub dungeons are all total half mule design. You might only get 12-15 packs + 2 bosses for a full Act clear. Blizzard really needs to take another look at Act IV.

Act 3 is pretty good, but they could use some more checkpoints in the first two quests and the keep levels can be huge, and ghom is total bs without outgearing him big time. The battlefields through asmodan is probably the best balanced portion of the game for time/effort/convienance.
