This is very similar to that other d-bag who "created a zoo." This was also done by a few "funny" individuals that kited packs to town before they made them "safe zones."
I feel pity for people who do things like this, really sad. I hope you find a friend someday.
As much of an *** as the guy is, anyone trusting randoms on a Blizzard game is asking to be screwed over. This guy is just giving them what they want.
I don't know why people flaunt their psychological problems in self made videos, which may as well be labelled, "These are my shrunken/damaged brain regions which make me a problem child".
Ahem, as a former PKer in hardcore Diablo 2 I can answer why this is enjoyable. It is hard to actually get someone in a situation where they are dumb enough to fall for it. It kind of becomes their own stupidity.
You get an endorphin rush whenever you kill a character. You feel like a hunter and that is your prey. It is kind of the same rush except instead of an animal it is an in game character. Showing off in these videos is like a hunter showing off the animal taken out. This was one of the reasons ears were popular in hardcore Diablo 2 because you get their ear as a trophy after PKing them in many situations.
So basically you actually feel GOOD about yourself after and to each his own if you don't get the same rush. Now hacking someone's account you don't feel good about because it goes SEVERELY OUTSIDE the game rules and I consider that a bad thing. This way of griefing is all based off of IN GAME rules. It really depends on your level of tolerance I guess.
Although I remember people using name color change hack in Diablo 2 where they would put they were slain by a certain monster and to take their town portal to loot their corpse in hardcore. The noobs would believe it because they saw the fake color text and would enter the portal and die instantly. It went outside the game rules but it was done in such a way where it didn't feel that unfair unlike an in town PK hack. Remember it is all about your level of tolerance when doing this.
I felt sad until I saw "TheBoss" then I cheered when he died.
10/10 video. I also love reading the self righteous replies from carebears in the comments.
