Just hit 60 with 400k advices? Crit mass impossible?

Hey i just hit 60 in act 4 Hell. Im tired of Hydra and blizzard and then running for precious life. I want to get in there and explode stuff.

So critical mass sounds fun, but im poor.

with 400k will i be able to pull of any build in inferno thats not Only blizzard/hydra/fast movespeed boots. Especially critical mass.

Basicly im a new 60 and want to know what gear youd advice i go for and a build which can help me farm inferno. Thanks

So the goal is being able to farm inferno act 1 with my new 60. I have 400k

Is critical mass no-go ? Is it subpar, if so what would you recommend.

AoC wands/source are plenty in AH, for decent ones you can get less than 100k gold each.

It's the CC items which are expensive and in order for this build to be viable you need to stack at least 25%.

Also if you intend to survive in Inferno, you need to have a decent amount of AR.

Im a noob at AH and these 60 items so im unable to tell does that mean Yes go for it. Or no 400k will leave you dead in a ditch.

What i mean is will 400k get me at the 25% crit rate and decent AR and what other stuff you think is vital for a 60. Im tired so excuse me if this doesnt all make sense.

I think you can do it with 400k but you'll have terrible dps and all resist. You'll run into trouble with some packs that run away, shields, invulnerable, arcane enchanted, frozen, some boss.

I'ld stick with hydra/blizzard build for now as it can kill everything. Try to get crit % while upgrading gear. At some point you'll only need to get the 2-3 pieces with AP on crit to run the crit mass build. A little LOH wouldn't hurt for the crit mass build but it's useless for the hydra build.

I'd stick with blizz/hydra, but start picking up crit + res all gear as you find it cheap on the AH. bargain hunt! Once you break 30% crit and have at least one APoC piece, give crit mass a try.

I made the switch by keeping an eye out for all AR + CtC gear as I leveled through Hell. By the time I had run A1 Inferno for a week or two, I had found enough gear to make the switch. If you play smart on the AH you should be able to speed that up...just make sure you don't overreach on your res and crit chances.

Also, for your first switch, you can get away with some gear that is just crit, no resall. Just make sure your non-crit gear pieces are strong on stat and resall. It's a juggling act at first--no one says you have to start with every piece being Stat-Resall-Crit-CritDam.

(If more people did this I could sell more on the AH)

It pisses me off big time that the item comparison is broken or something when using the auction house.
It works in game but not in the ah.

Freaking impossible to tell which items are better or worse. Is it really that hard to fix/implement?

It's not broken, they just didn't implement it. They said that feature is coming in a future patch though.

400k should be very viable for act 1. As long as you make the right compromises (sufficient HP/resist to survive, high crit and ap on crit, rest DPS). A piece with high crit and AP on crit will not cost much if it doesn't have much dps(int, crit dmg)/vit/resists. It's not hard to get well over 30% crit and 20-30 AP on crit with a 400k budget and still have enough HP/resists/DPS to not only be A1-viable, but also be better than you could be with other builds (as you are using an OP build, after all).

Can't say nothing about 1.0.4. Will have to wait and see how they pull it off. But keep in mind you've got plenty of time to use this spec to farm well over 400k gold before the patch is released unless you only play like a few minutes a day.
