Actually, I do the WSK because it's a break from solid Baaling and I often stop on the way to the throne to kill champion packs etc any way.

Thanks for reminding me, I've added myself to the Other 85 Area; and I'll be popping around the WSK.

This change was introduced in 1.12 iirc. Since everyone seems to have enigma with 7 popped collars, ebotd bows and dual weilding last wish meleemancers nowadays, it might as well not make sense now. However, the historical reasoning behind it was that AT was dominating everything else in the category. And that no one wanted to run Meph, so something had to take his place ....
