Re: WW crit barb, fury generation?.....

Part of my problem is have both call up, sprinting, the WW and keeping enough fury to keep it going. My crit chance is at 33.5%- it is too low?

    Gear...

It's much too low. You should aim for at least 25%, ideally closer to 40%.

Including weapon mastery and battle rage I have 52.5% crit, and I only ever have to stop perma-whirl against shielding mobs or if I'm just fighting a single enemy with a small hitbox. If they have a larger hitbox even just one enemy I can perma-whirl. That's with a mace mainhand and a dagger offhand. A common mistake to see is people with maces/axes in both hands. You only need it in the mainhand to get the crit bonus, you want a fast weapon offhand for more procs and LoH tics. Run like the wind's damage goes off the mainhand, but its speed alternates based on which weapon you're using, so a fast offhand also increases your damage output. More damage, more fury, more LoH. There's no down side to a fast offhand, everybody should be using one.

If you are running out of fury, just stop using it until you have enough. As long as you are sprinting, stuff are going to die.
This is pretty much it. Run like the wind is both your primary damage dealer and your primary source of fury. I don't agree that Hurricane is "only" a bonus bit of damage though. The point of Hurricane is moving through enemies so they can't box you in, and so you can drop tornadoes on, around, and between them much more easily.

Could you elaborate on the rubber banding effect?

It's basically a new name for good old desync lag. In other words, your machine thinks you are in one place, but the server thinks you are somewhere else and --poof-- you end up where the server think you are. Blizzard applied a "fix" last week, but it actually made the issue worse for me.

OK, good to know. So I suppose whirlwind/sprint is more suceptible because you have to be constantly moving (I noticed that wallers are VERY HARD because it interrupts your normal movement pattern)

Not just that you're constantly moving, but you're constantly moving into places you cannot go without using whirlwind (moving through monsters) and at a much faster pace than other characters do. If your latency grows and the client and server momentarily disagree about whether you actually hit the whirlwind key, actually have enough fury to whirlwind to where you want, or the location of a monster, the server's corrections become noticeable.
