OK...so I was doing some racking in 1.07 hell LK, as I had gotten a stable War Scepter rack, and was looking for awesome bases. I was hitting the other racks and the chests too, because you just never know what sort of awesomeness you might get, right? Well, I popped one of the other weapon racks and a blue War Pike hit the ground...I almost just left it there, as my inventory was quite full of other goodies, but I'm kinda OCD about checking things that might be godly, so I sighed, rearranged my inventory to make room, and picked it up.

OMG, it was Eth!!

I took a deep breath, crossed my fingers mentally, and ID'd it...

O..M..G...298% Cruel of Quickness!!!!

I was so flustered I forgot to take a screenie...after calming down a bit, I got up and poured myself a shot, slammed it, then got another and fetched a cigar in preparation for a quick trip to Larzuk...

When I got to Horagath, I handed my new shiny to Larzuk, toasted him with the second shot, then closed my eyes and pressed the button...

Needless to say, I promptly lit up my victory cigar!!

But wait! I can hear someone asking what's so good about that? It only shows 214-474 damage, and that sux...

You have to realize a couple things: 1) its still in 1.07, and base damage on a war pike in 1.07 is only 54-106, and 2) etherealness only gives +50% max damage in 1.07/1.08, NOT weapon damage * 1.5

Forwarded to 1.08+, the base damage becomes 33-178...forwarded to 1.09+, it gets BOTH the +50% maxdam AND the weapon damage * 1.5 ethereal bonuses...

So, forwarded to 1.09+, damage on this bad boy is [33 * 3.98 * 1.5]197 to [178 * 4.48 * 1.5]1196 damage!! and that BEFORE you put stuff in the 4 sox!!! With 4*Ohm, that becomes 296 - 1730 damage!!

Of course, its eth, so if I wanna self-weild it, I'll need to sock in a Zod...so now I need a Zod

One dilemma is whether or not to then ATMA-bug it to free up the fourth socket...I would note that even with just 3 40/15 jewels, it would hit LWWBP and still do 256 - 1516 damage!!

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, handily beats OMGs Skull Breaker, IMO....

ATMA bug that thing. It doesn't have 3 or 5 sockets for Zod to go in middle. Aim for LWWPB but also for at least 5 fpa fury with druids. Just small tips
