I assume I'm going to have to go for 1h bows for the attack speed increase and increased availability of LoH stats which in turn will help LoH/tanking..
Is there a crit chance/attack speed to aim for to make nightstalker "worthwhile" in order to try and stay perma-Gloom'd? Clearly as much as funds and items allow but something to shoot for, would be quite nice.
And I assume I should i be largely ignoring crit damage in favour of IAS/crit for the above reasons?
Really interested in how this goes for you, I've been considering doing the same once I kit out my barb properly. However I was wondering if lifesteal might be better depending on your skills chosen (though I'd assume you'd pick the most LoH-efficient skills because nightstalker also uses those coefficients).
I can see this build being a real tanking possibility with a nat's 4 piece bonus, a decent pool of max discipline and mad crit/attspeed.
Sorry for in no way answering your question haha. I would imagine for LoH, critdamage is merely a supplement just as damage stats are. If gloom is active for 3 seconds, and you have the 4nats set bonus, then shadow power essentially costs 5disc (1base/sec and 2nats), which preferably you'd be able to regen with night stalker. Even without using nightstalker, with a max disc of 40, you'll be able to pull off 24seconds of gloom. Hopefully you should be able to kill some stuff within that time, but nightstalker should help you out if you can't.
Very nice right up here
