Hi all
According to a quick internet data mining there are 6 Black Rock Ledger pages : 4, ,8, 15, 16 , 23 and 42.
This pages are found in act II (all difficulties I guess) in the desert zones before Alcarnus where random dungeons can spam. A random page is dropped by a miner near a wrecked ship (in the desert !) after he explodes ; you need to speak to him to start the event, beware of other exploding goblins, especially if you play hardcore....
These pages are non-tradable but I think that you can drop them on the ground for other people to grab.
(So far, I've collected four of them).
Here are my questions :
- could the number of pages (6) be confirmed ?
- what are they supposed to be used to ?
Any hints ?
Thanks
PS : It reminds me of a WOW quest where you had to compile several parts of a map to launch aspecific pirates' chest quest.
you ever see the TV series LOST ?
the pages do nothing, its just an easter egg
Then they will also reveal the purpose of the chat gem in D2... Blizzard just said that it served its intended purpose well, not what it was.

I'm very disappointed with F. Mulder answer, I was used to more speculative conjectures ... no weird disappearance, no gouvernment plot including alien mystification ?

He's a pawn himself, that should explain it.

Have there been any updates on what the pages will do? I have all six (4, 8, 15 ,16, 23, 42). I just picked up the last one.
