2 handed farming act 1-2 doable?

I hate playing defensive chars biulds (hc is so not for me ) ;-) is it doable at say 2-3 million ? Even if its to farm act 1 cheers in advance

You can absolutely farm A1 for 2-3 million gold; glass cannons are relatively cheap whatever your class. I'm not sure whether you could farm A2 effectively for quite so little with a barb, though.

I definately think it is. Honestly, with a bit of smart AH shopping and patience sifting through tons of items on there, i think you could make a 2 handed, dual or sword and board (offensive) barb to farm act 2 with without much trouble for almost the vendor price of those items (30-50k combined).
Just try to avoid paying 50 times more for basically the same sort of items, but then with that one more modifier making the price skyrocket.

Guildie of mine farms a3 & a4 with 2hander. His gear is rather highend though.

He relies heavily on cooldowns to kill packs tho. WotB/IP is a must have before he can engage unless it's Demon Troopers.. :P

It's definitely doable, I had better (bit more expensive) gear for Act 2 though.

Here you go.. I cleared inferno with this setup and I EASILY farm A1 AND A2. I can farm A3 too but my resists and armor are somewhat low and i can get into deep trouble with some packs if I go too fast. Gear is mid-high end, but could be done much cheaper. http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3Strat...all_offensive/ . I got tired of waiting for cooldowns and this build does really well without having to rely on them.

Using a good build, 10k gold per item should easily get you stomping anything in act 1. Using a somewhat underpowered build it will cost you more, but since act 1 is easy and using a 2h build with EQ+WotB+IP is not THAT bad of a build it should be easily manageable with gear worth "only" 2-3 million (I say "only" because 2-3 million is a lot for act 1 gear).

Just seen gear stats ouch very nice id take a belt with life steal maybe and maybe on weapon if i can offord it but love two handed lvling atm so much damage :-P
