Fists of Thunder is a primary ability though, and every 3rd strike with Thunderclap it hits every mob in the area. Dual Wielding with a few attack speed bonuses mean that's hitting pretty consistently.. Believe me, I've tried transcendence and I've had better success with resolve with just diving into the middle of a bunch of junk.. I don't have to spend as much time kiting, and it feels to me that my LOH is more effective. I'm going to play with transcendence a bit since I've been playing with higher DPS and little less LOH though, and see how it compares.

Transcendence is pretty awesome. Since you are/should be spamming your mantra all the time anyway in combat (at least when dual-wielding), its a constant 3k heal every use, and you can literally just spam it constantly.
Pretty much my MO.
As others have said, Resolve isn't helping me with things that give me the most trouble, aka colorful stuff on the ground. I have tried it for farming Act 2 and it helps speeding it up a bit, as I get more face time with the mobs. But I get vexed when I want a simple heal to help with my LoH and don't get it from my mantra. So I always switch back.
OP, I see that you're running with no MF. I find that having 100-150 base MF helps a lot when farming. Do you have a MF build for act 3 or do you think that's it's too expensive or not viable with the monk atm.
I run ACT 2 with about 200 MF and ACT 3 with 125 MF on my Barb. I just have more fun in ACT 2 and find a good amount of iLVL 63 stuff. I only have around 20+ k damage when I move to ACT 3 and it's really a grind.
For the time being since it's legal I do a MF swap.. I don't get it on every pack because it's better to just kill the mob rather than risk death.. I would like to eventually have some MF worked into my regular gear sets, but for the time being it's just too expensive and the gear I can afford will hurt my DPS too much so I'd spend way more time than just doing a swap.
Since I'm rolling with higher DPS now than I was in this video, I have found it way easier to be put into positions where I can effectively swap the gear, but it feels like it's slowing me down more.. Still working out mechanics for this for the optimal farm, and once my gear is perfected I'm going to start trying to work some MF into my base gear.
A link to your monk would be awsome so we can see the gear / build and so on.
