Hey,

The last time I played diablo 2 was as a kid. Having many fond memories I found myself playing the game with my "new" girlfriend. We've long ago figured the new bot scene ruins the atmosphere for anything close to normal internet play and simply chose to enjoy the game together when we have time. We only play together, and at no point our goal is or will not be to become amazing at this game, nor rich.

However, what does interest us are things like creating a solid character using what we have and we've noticed that it actually brings more joy than owning everything in the world because there is still mystery left and promise of improvement as we play. As I do not want to post stupid questions regarding this game everywhere on the forum, I will simply post them in my very own thread that will cover more than one subject. I've spent a fair bit of time understanding the theory behind Diablo, as people have seemingly broken into understandable text so well. However, ocassionally a time arises when I either do not understand, or can't find an answer for. The first time is now.

We've decided to build a Javazon and a Zealot. I have chosen to level up fanatism aura. Will my fanatism aura lower the attack speed breakpoints my gf using her Titan's Revenge (Ceremonial Javelin). It seems without the Fanatism aura, breakpoints for AS for TR are as following:
0%
16%
30%
52%
89%

According to the diablowiki, AR and AS are fully shared between party members with fanatism aura.

According to the calculator mentioned below, an Amazon using a ceremonial javelin with lvl 20 fanatism needs 25 IAS from gear to archieve 7 frames per attack. Does this information hold true for fanatism that comes from a friendly party paladin, or only fanatism from a runeword.

Hey,

We've been looking into Javazon belts next. Razortail admittedly adds to piercing strike (pierce) to Javazon attacks. In patch 1.13, how is this calculated into the actual pierce value. How useful it is to add skills to pierce with Razortail. Are the returns dimishing, and is there a possibility to archieve 100% or close to 100% pierce with using Razortail.

Yes, you can attain 100% pierce. If you have level 9 or higher pierce and are using a Razortail, you will get 100% pierce.

Hey again

I am now struggling to find a decent article or least explanation of the importance of fhr (Faster Hit Recovery), especially for characters that deal with limited resources.

How important is fhr in PvM, and how drastic are the jumps in stun duration in fhr breakpoints?

As we have to prioritize what we invest in, we often find ourselves in situation that when we can afford it, we are able to either create or buy one mediocre item for one of us. This often means planning and prioritizing is called for. It also means that, investing heavily into something leaves us vulnerable on the other front. Should we prefer resistance and defense over fhr, or is the fhr more important for me a melee character?

Would any of these runewords be recommended for a poor Javazon or Zealot.

Each seems to heavily specialize in different things, and leaves me wondering what would be the most all-around choice for either character. Naturally if there are say, Uniques that could be bought for the price of the runes that works better, would work too.

Hey,

Which weapons make acceptable base for runeword "oath". I've been looking this as an acceptable zealot weapon (Someone may correct me) since I cannot afford grief. I understand finding a base weapon that is ethereal with enough sockets is painful, but at least I would understand to look for it instead of accidentally leave a suitable item on the ground from sheer ignorance.

If it does matter, I will have max level fanatism incase it's important in reaching certain breakpoint with different weapons.

Edit: I've also looked into Crescent moon, since the -% lightning resistance would benefit us both. What would be the best weapon for this item?
