I have no good gear. was wondering which works better for me, enchant or thunderstorm. I am gaming mostly by myself with very crappy gear. Also i am pvm, not pvp. please give your reasoning, thanks.
Neither of those skills are any good. A highly geared Enchantress can have an enchant of 5k dmg.
And THstorm sucks. Period.
Why pick those skills at all? There must be other better skills for a FO sorc? Try maxing meteor?
Peace
i heard about the meterob and orballer combo but problem is i dont like either skill (dont ask). the only skill i am agreeable to is hydra. (no chain lightning either). is it a viable skill?
None of these will have any good dmg:
Hydra/Inferno/Blaze/Enchant
Nova/ThStorm
IceBlast/FrostNova
A few others might have a decent dmg if heavily invested in synergies.
If you go for only cold dmg, you wont make it past Nightmare. Loads of immunes there.
So either you go for Meteor(Which doesnt require loads of points for dmg) or you go for full cold. And get 1 Armor skill maxed, or even energy shield maxed out.
Peace
it depends on skill layout, merc and others. thounder is not bad for hc, because u can just tele(escape) and it does the work. enchant is not bad, but with synergy and mastery. do u have enough skill points? i usually play iceblast/blizz soso and on switch she has meteor and fireball as support for merc. but i found also some "stick" with e.g. +2 soso, +2 fire, +2 hydra and using skill points for synergy of hydra and it was playable (and funny). enchantress is kind of builds, u couldn't be probably possible tu use it (mele or range), so...on the other hand fire tree is better, because against ci u can start with static. but if u use fire rogue, orb, static and thounder u should to manage all monsters. or u can try some funny things, e.g. rogue with harmony, when troubles give her other bow and use charged revi or valkyra
but with orb and cold mastery (needn't be maxed) u should have enough skill points for good fire combo meteor/fireball. when i play fire soso, i use orb such a second ele skill...
