Yes, I hadn't sold anything for the past 4-5 days. Then today I sold 5 things. Very strange.
Probably wouldn't get many sales over the past couple of weeks due to less ppl buying. I think most ppl r just listing auctions on the GAH now. Whenever I look for a high-end item, I usually only find a few listings on the RMAH... but on the GAH there's at least a couple of pages. Wouldn't be surprised if sales pick up now though with the impending release of the next patch... might give it another shot myself in fact.
Items in review 5,000,000 Gold Time of transaction 21 August 2012 12:13 PM BST Total value in review £12.50
Think this will be my last decently priced gold sale before it plummets downwards :(!
Edit - Wish I had put more in the sale instead of just 5mill lol.
Also sold a Amulet over the weekend which i had tried to sell over the GAH for 5 bid 15 BO, sold on RHAM for £30.
Item name Intrepid Emblem Time of transaction 19 August 2012 04:12 PM BST Sale price £30.00 Transaction fee £1.00 Transfer fee £4.35 Applicable taxes £0.00 Your proceeds £24.65
and now no smart searching takes that market too
things are turning around, i've done 120 profit since patch hit - hopefully that continues to grow back up to normal levels.
i prefer when i could sell lvl 50 weapons i bought for 200k for 10$... and no new players means no low level weapons are selling anymore either.
-req stuff sells sometimes but its not nearly as cheap to buy and players who buy it usually have gold to just pay less on the gah.
at least now we get to play the legacy game
I know the new patch closes a lot of opportunities for us but man I don't miss the old POS search engine and 36h auctions. So much easier to get rid of your fast-selling items now. Even if makes you bring your prices down you still sell more items and eventually profit more, at least in my case - I'm flooded, my whole stash + three or four mule heroes.
