Is anything selling on GAH or RMAH

Well, i can only speak for myself when i say.


I will never ever spend more then 2-3 million gold on anything and will never, eeeeeeeeeeeever waste my hard earned cash in the RMAH.


I've been able 'find' everything i need to make it through inferno with 3 classes by myself. Every once in a while i might drop a million only if the stats i see are better then what i got on, if NOT i dont care. But its rare because people are CRAZY and think everything is worth millions of gold or hundreds of dollars.


When i do upgrade i give my items away to people in pub games i see struggling. So they dont have to get suckered into buy items for millions of gold or real money.

May I ask why you arent willing to spend 10m on a item? If its worth the value and you have 10m why not?

On topic RMAH and GAH both seem going normal in US, bunch of mid to lower tier items are deflating especially dual attack proc rings/ammys

I haven't sold anything on the GAH in a few days, and even then it was for way less than the items were worth. Then again I haven't farmed inferno in about 2 weeks.

I make about 5-10 dollars a day on the rmah though, so I really can't complain.

Well, if its worth 10 million i would pay for it. But 99% of the stuff on the AH is worthless or sooo overpriced its insane.

AH just turns me right off, i can barely stand it. Only 3 slots to search and its usually overpriced and next to useless.


I remember being sooo frustrated because i could not buy a good knife for my WD. Even the knives that where 250 000 000 gold where garbage. Then i found an average knife with 816 damage, 600 LoH, 114 intel, 79 life and 104 mana.

That made me keep playing. Now, i just keep looking for deals instead of feeding the economic vultures. I no longer need anything, but i could always use better stuff. But i will always have a chip on my shoulder againt the AH and the players who overprice everything to just make a profit.

Stuff on AH are overpriced, because the stuff that aren't overpriced are already sold. If 99% of the items you look at are items that haven't sold for >2 hours already, then of course most of them will seem overpriced - They really are overpriced, and you're not the only one who thinks that way. If you want to pay what an item is really worth, either look only at items that were recently put on the AH (which of course doesn't guarantee a good price but at least makes it a possibility), or look for items that already have bids on them (but read the "bidding explained" post so you don't screw yourself over).

I don't know how you can say "my stuff aren't selling for what they're worth". If your stuff aren't selling, then they aren't worth that much. Item value is determined by people's willingness to pay said price. If nobody is willing to pay the price you listed the items for, they're probably not worth that much to most people, and you'll need to get lucky to find someone who suddenly decides the item is worth that much (which is something I personally don't count on, except maybe for some uber-rare uber-expensive items where I don't mind losing an AH slot for a chance at a few extra millions).

This is something you really have to discover on your own.

The reason why successful RMAH sellers don't disclose what they are selling is because everyone would jump on said markets and completely tank them.

@Raveharu: High DPS Crossbows (1100+) with high Crit Damage (90%+ naturally), and a socket. Any other item with Crit Chance, Crit Damage and Dex. After the profiles were released, it became easy to check what popular/well-know/successful gamers were using. For example, one could see exactly how Athene had geared out, and all his massive WoW following will likely gear out similarly.

Keep watching it after 1.0.4 to see how he gears out, and adapt your AH searches to match since his fans will adapt to emulate his strategies.

Ah I know that, nat items are hot, if they get the good rolls.

No need to even mention about those bows, I think the best I've found so far was a 10xx DPS one which my own DH uses.

So basically dh gear are selling well in rmah, hmm.
