That game was thrilling! I have high hopes for an epic Women's Soccer gold medal game. I didn't know I would be saying that but here we are.

Ummm, why did I just voluntarily sit through 'Call Me Maybe'? That will be a few minutes that I can never recover from. Then again I hear that song at least 3 times a day while driving, so meh...

And I can't wait for NBC to finally start showing any of the basketball games. Either I have just been missing them all or the qualifying rounds were not worthy of coverage.

Normally I would agree with you. I change the radio channel when it comes on in the car, BUT the radio version does not involve Missy Franklin flipping her hair every which way while eye-f***ing the camera.

Apparently the USA Men's Basketball team already suffered a serious scare at the hands of Lithuania. I would have liked to have seen that game, but I don't have time for much beyond prime-time coverage and a bit of daytime action on the weekend.

Yea, I have been reading the box scores and such after the games but the 4 point win over Lithuania and the massive blowout against Nigeria would have been nice to see on tv instead of catching clips and highlights later. Hopefully though when the quarter finals start tomorrow more coverage will be provided.
